There will be a Wall of Reflection in The Coffee Hut as part of a national initiative.

Led by Marie Curie, Wall of Reflection is one of a UK-wide series of tributes being created to mark the National Day of Reflection on 23rd March.

A day to reflect on the lives of the people who have died during the last two years and support the millions of people who are grieving. Whether from Covid or any other cause.

Kathryn Bowman Clinical Nurse Manager added:

"While life is beginning to return to normal for some people, several million people are still living with the trauma of loss and not being able to grieve properly. Let's make the legacy of the pandemic years one of compassion, love, and active support for those who grieve, both now and in years to come."

On the 23rd March, there will be a wall of reflection at The Coffee Hut on Coinagehall Street, Helston.

People can drop off pictures/memories/names of people they would like to remember from Thursday 16th March 2022 and these will then all be added to the wall.

On the day itself, Marie Curie and The Coffee Hut are inviting the local community to gather at the Wall of Reflection from 11am/11:30am and observe the minute's silence at 12 noon.

The Coffee Hut is open 10am to 4pm Tuesday - Saturday if you'd like to drop anything in for the wall.
