Go Go Skank will be playing at The Ship Inn this weekend in an epic charity fundraiser in support of the Ukrainian people following the Russian invasion.

Playing high energy 70s, 80s, and 90s pop classics with a ska twist, Go Go Skank will be performing a free gig on Saturday evening (12th) in aid of Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.

Kicking off at 9pm, it is also Go Go Skank's sixth birthday - expected to be an awesome night whilst doing some good, right when it's needed.

A spokesperson for The Ship Inn Porthleven said:

"Please come on down for a boogie, Go Go Skank always put on one heck of a show - but also, if you can, please show your support for the cause.

"These absolutely ace musicians are doing this out of the good of their hearts so if you enjoy the tunes (and we know you will!) please show your appreciation by helping the people of Ukraine. All donations will be sent directly to the Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal through the Disasters Emergency Committee."

You can bring some money on the night and put it in the collection bucket. Alternatively, you can scan a code at the event, or donate via their Just Giving page.
