Sweet Pea Floral Studio in Helston has celebrated 4 years in their shop on Meneage Street.

In 4 years the Sweet Pea has gone from strength to strength, being accepted into The Good Florist Guide, reaching the British florist association finals for retail flower shop of the year in 2019.

The store was also voted the best wedding florist in the Simply Wedding Awards and has received over 100 5* reviews.

Writing on social media, owner Lin Turner heaped praise on the support over the years, saying, "thank you to our amazing customers who have supported us over the past 4 years and continue to support us in these difficult times we really appreciate you."

Looking back on the first three years in business, the shop was redecorated, the website updated and a constant range of flowers of plants were displayed.

Back in March, the coronavirus pandemic struck many businesses hard but Sweet Pea stayed strong, Lin Turner told Nub News:

"Covid was challenging, but we worked hard and got through it with the support of our wonderful customers.

"I remember my first day as the owner like it was yesterday the thrill of knowing I could now put my dreams into reality and make the shop something really special was amazing. Our first day was really busy I just knew I had made the right decision."

What will the next years look like for Sweet Pea?

Lin added:

"We have lots plans for the future we can't share them yet but rest assured it will mean Sweet Pea Floral Studio will be bigger and better whilst still offering our usual high-quality designs and the very best customer service."
