The arrival of Storm Eunice has resulted in the cancellation of Helston Country Market.

The Met Office has issued a red warning for Cornwall on Friday (18th) expected to cause significant disruption and dangerous conditions due to extremely strong winds on Friday.

Due to the adverse weather conditions forecast on Friday, the market won't be able to open.

A spokesperson for the market added:

"Huge apologies but we will be back next Friday from 9am in Helston Guildhall."
