Crash near Helston leaves two people trapped in vehicle

Two people had to be freed from a vehicle this morning by the fire service following an accident in Wendron.

Police, fire and ambulance were called at 11:05am today (4th), following a two-vehicle collision on the B3297, near Helston.

The collision involved a van and a car, a spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police told Nub News:

"Two people were trapped in the car and were extracted by the fire service. The elderly male passenger sustained a minor chest injury and was treated by paramedics.

"The road was partially blocked but is now all clear."
