The not-for-profit community event is free to attend. It brings together the best of local food, fringe events, and family fun around the picturesque harbour of Porthleven in Cornwall. The national and international chef's theatre includes a visit from Festival patron and TV-favourite, chef Antony Worrall Thompson. You'll find plenty of top-quality food stalls and restaurants to eat your way through the days, as well as events taking place across the community.

This year the Chef's Theatre hosts an impressive line-up of culinary talent, presented by acclaimed chef Jude Kereama alongside, celebrity chef, broadcaster, and returning festival supporter Anthony Worrall Thompson, the 2023 chef line-up includes:
- Tom Barnes – Executive Head Chef at Simon Rogan's flagship three Michelin Star L'Enclume restaurant and Rogan & co in Cumbria. Famed for its sustainable approach and use of hyper-seasonal produce, the critically acclaimed L'Enclume was recently named 'most exciting' restaurant at the Good Food Guide Awards.
- James Knappett – Chef Patron of two Michelin Star Kitchen Table in London. Having worked in at some of the world's most highly regarded restaurants and trained in Cambridgeshire, James spent his formative years in the kitchens at Restaurant Gordon Ramsay and Petrus, and then moved on to work at Rick Stein's The Seafood Restaurants, Thomas Keller's Per Se, and with René Redzepi at noma.
- Emily Scott – chef and cookbook author, who opened her restaurant on the sea wall at the iconic Watergate Bay serves simple, seasonal, effortlessly stylish food in a scenic and informal setting. Emily was the first woman to cook for leaders of the western worlds, when commissioned by the Cabinet Office to curate a special dinner for Royalty and the World Leaders at the G7 summit. And was also listed in the top 100 most influential women in hospitality industry two years running, has been recognised by Michelin since 2016 and appeared on the Great British Menu on BBC2 to represent the South-West back in 2019.

During the festival, there is also a wide programme of music and entertainment. Outside the celebration of food, there are a number of music events, including live bands, DJs & buskers. Evening sessions at the Moors Field Stage have limited tickets required to be purchased in advance.
Daytime music and family-friendly entertainment are free of charge with visitors only needing tickets for the evening music events.
