Ninety-five sailors from RNAS Culdrose have now returned from an intensive month-long training deployment on the new carrier HMS Queen Elizabeth.
On top of flying sorties day and night, they faced the brunt of Storm Ciara in the North Sea – where the navy's flagship was lashed by 100mph winds and huge sea swells.

Tenants of Cornwall Council are set to see their rent bills increase for the coming year.
Under recommendations agreed by the council's Cabinet today social and affordable rent rates will go up by the Consumer Price Index (CPI) rate plus 1%.
Helston Town Band has put out an appeal to raise money for new uniforms in time for Flora Day 2020.

Work that was due to be carried out on the A3083 has been cancelled this evening due to bad weather.
The route that the work was due to take place on was Trevelyan Holiday Homes and Little Trethvas Ruan Minor and the junction of Ebenezer Road, A3083 between Friars Lane and Trevelyan Holiday Homes Ruan Minor, A3083 between Higher Bochym and Friars Lane, Bochym Hill.

Sailors from Royal Naval Air Station Culdrose have spoken of their role in a £35-million cocaine drugs bust in the Caribbean.
The team were on the Royal Fleet Auxiliary (RFA) ship Mounts Bay and on hand to help US coastguards in the swoop.
