Over £2,000 has been donated in support of a Porthleven hedgehog rescue.
Tracy Sargent runs Porthleven Harbour Hedgie Rescue - a small non profit hedgehog rescue.
She cares for and treat sick, injured, and orphaned hedgehogs until they are fit and healthy, releasing them back into the wild.
Tracy set up a fundraiser to help expand the operation after turning admissions away due to a lack of space.
Not only will the funds help build a new rescue shed - they will also go towards food costs, medical treatments, equipment and veterinary bills.
The fundraiser has quickly raised £2,211 in a few weeks to which she is "amazed" by.
In a thank you to supporters she added: "Still a long way to go in getting a much needed larger rescue shed. Demand is going to get far greater now another local rescue has sadly closed for the time being. Thank you all, I appreciate your continued and wonderful support."
