Friday 19th May - Murder Mystery - A Titanic Story
The Polurrian on the Lizard Hotel will be holding a murder mystery night this Friday.
It is April 9th, 1912, the night before the Titanic sets sail to America and some of the more affluent guests of the ill-fated liner are having dinner before their crossing begins the next day. Maggie Warner has been shopping in London with her fiance Thomas but is that the only reason she was here or is there a more shameful reason behind her trip to England?
We all know the tragic tale of the ship but did something wicked happen before the ship even set sail? Let's meet some of the passengers and crew of arguably one of the most famous ships in history and see what unfolds.

Saturday 20th May - Cornwall Air Ambulance FC vs Thames Valley Air Ambulance FC… The Rematch!
In 2022 Cornwall Air Ambulance took on Thames Valley Air Ambulance in a charity football match, a close affair that eventually saw Cornwall take home the victory.
Both teams consist mainly of players, either personally rescued or with close ties to someone who has been helped by the crew. So come along, show your support, and raise vital funds for both charities to help keep the helicopters saving lives!
There will be lots of activities on offer for spectators, including a prize raffle, children's penalty shoot-out competition, score against Air Crew Andy challenge, and lots more. Refreshments will be available on-site, including drinks from the Porthleven AFC clubhouse and hot food options.

Saturday 20th May - Akoustek
More live music at The Top House Inn who provide great entertainment each weekend!
Akoustek (Cornish for acoustic) is a trio with a variety of styles from the 50s and 60s Rock and Roll and many other ballads and songs.
