What's on the menu at Helston Athletic's Blues Kitchen ahead of opening weekend?

The new owners of The Blues Kitchen are gearing up for their opening this weekend - revealing the new menu.

In November we spoke to Paul and Jo Osborne, the owners of The Hideaway Cafe, Fore Street in Porthleven after they agreed to take on The Blues Kitchen at Kellaway Park.

The kitchen will be open from 9am Saturday and Sunday. In a post on social media today Paul and Jo said:

"Please respect the covid rules that we have had to put in place to enable us to open. Look forward to seeing you on Saturday."

What's on the menu?

Breakfast 9am-12:30pm

Full English - bacon, sausage, fried egg, beans, mushrooms, tomatoes, hash brown and toast.

Vegetarian Breakfast - vegetarian sausage, fried egg, beans, mushrooms, tomatoes, hash brown and toast.

Waffles - bacon and maple syrup on two hot waffles.

Granola

A selection of breakfast baps - bacon, sausage, bacon and egg, sausage and egg.

Matchday 13:00-17:30

Bacon bap

Sausage bap

Chips

Pasties

Burgers

Homemade soup

A selection of teas, coffees and hot chocolates served all day.

Evening 18:00 to 20:30

Burgers served with skin-on fries and coleslaw

Classic, bacon and cheese, blues burger and veggie burger.

Nachos, chilli or salsa.

Pies - chicken and mushroom, steak and ale, butternut and spinach.

Sides including chips, onion rings and garlic bread.
