Early rain and perhaps briefly a little snow in places, clearing during the morning. Becoming sunnier with wintry showers in the west later. Strong winds at first but these easing through the day. Feeling much colder than on recent days. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

A few wintry showers continuing in the west overnight. However, most of the region will stay dry and clear. Winds easing allowing a frost to form, especially in sheltered areas. Minimum temperature -2 °C.
