The drivers of the two vehicles involved in a collision at Goonhilly earlier this afternoon are thought to have escaped without serious injury.

Police were called out today following reports of an accident near Goonhilly Earth Station.

Devon and Cornwall police said:

"We were called by the ambulance service with a report of a two-vehicle collision at Traboe Cross on the B3293, Goonhilly Downs, at around 12.15pm.

"The road is blocked as a result of the incident.

"Injuries not currently believed to be life-threatening or life-changing."

Recovery was arranged for both vehicles.
