UPDATE: Driver cut out of car following accident in Mullion, reveals fire service

The fire service has provided an update following an accident in Mullion earlier today.

Emergency services rushed the scene of an overturned vehicle near Laflouder Lane, Mullion.

One appliance from Mullion Fire Station, one from Helston Fire Station and the Rescue Tender from Tolvaddon were mobilised to the collision.

A spokesperson for Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service said:

"The vehicle had rolled and the occupant was trapped inside. The crew from Mullion used battery-operated crash rescue equipment to release the casualty who was suffering from spinal injuries."

Ambulance and Police were also in attendance.
