The planned roadworks for Helston in the coming weeks

From today (19th) underground cabling will begin on Culdrose Road, traffic control (two-way signals) will be in place. This will go on till the 21st May.

Starting yesterday (18th) and continuing until the 24th June construction of a road ramp will begin at the northern end of Mill Lane as part of the Helston Flood Alleviation Scheme. Delays unlikely.

The 19th May - 27th May one joint hole in modular footway will be fitted at St Pirans Parc, Porthleven, traffic control will be in place.

On the 20th May BT will have traffic control in place with two-way signals at Porthleven Road.

From the 20th May - 22nd May the full length of Porthleven Road and Penrose Hill will be affected for surface dressing prep work.

The 21st May - 26th May the Turnpike, Helston will have traffic control in place as a water meter gets installed.

Beginning on the 26th May there will be traffic control on

Meneage Street for work on fitting one joint hole in modular footway for supply alteration. This work will carry on until 1st June.

On the 2nd June - 8th June, Penrose Road will be closed for overhead reconductoring.
