Helston cafe The Coffee Bean is set to offer takeaway again as it begins to welcome back customers this week.
During the Coronavirus lockdown, The Coffee Bean has been working hard decorating the place ready for reopening, 'The Bean' will now be servings takeaways under strict social distancing rules.
The Coffee Bean operated a takeaway service before the lockdown so this is a familiar process for the restaurant.
A spokesperson for The Coffee Bean told Nub News:
"After spending 8 weeks in lockdown but now being able to go to work, we've been decorating The Bean for a few weeks and carrying out various DIY tasks that normal working hours have not allowed time for.
"We are all looking forward to reopening on the 27th May. We're all up to speed with social distancing and Coronavirus procedures so there is a small risk as possible to our staff or customers. We have been supplied face masks by Hair By Marie.
"We've seen a fair few customers around town who tell us they are eager for us to get back to work.
"We are initially opening on Wednesday to Saturday from 10am to 2pm. Hopefully it will be successful and we'll open also on Monday's and Tuesday's as well.
"We have a big menu most of which will be available as a takeaway and some can even be taken away cold to be reheated at home for lunch or dinner.
"We've run The Bean for almost 10 years and have become friends with a lot of our customers so look forward to seeing them again soon."
Orders can be given at the door OR ring 01326 572970 so it can be prepared for collection.
