Details have been released of Remembrance Service events in Helston.

The Helston Royal British Legion shared an update on social media inviting the community to join this year's Remembrance Parade and Service at the Grylls Monument, Helston, on Sunday November 13th.

The group said: "We hope that you will be able to join us in Remembering the fallen of all conflicts. Helston as a town and its Military connection is generous in its contributions and its support for the Poppy Appeal and the Remembrance Parade."

Those wishing to be part of the Parade must be at the Trengrouse Way Extension Car Park no later than 10:15am (there will be road closures throughout the town in place from 10am). The Parade Master will coordinate Standard Bearers and form up the rest of the Parade, ready to step off at approximately 10:30am. The Parade will then make its way to the Grylls Monument where the Service will commence.
