Roadworks to begin tonight on A394 between Helston and Falmouth

Work that will close the A394 road between Falmouth and Helston is due to begin tonight.

The road will be closed from the Treliever Roundabout, Falmouth all the way to the roundabout near Falmouth Road, Helston.

This is for resurfacing works.

The work is expected to be completed by the 14th February.

The closure will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600 on a daily basis weekdays only.

A notice on the Cornwall Council website reads:

"Nothing in this order will apply to emergency services, School Buses, traffic associated with the works required within

the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss

of utility supplies and anything is done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer.

"Pedestrian access to residents and businesses will be maintained."
