Roadworks coming up in and around Helston this week

On Hichens Road, from the 9th-14th January, traffic control will be in place to repair a burst main.

Overhead and underground cabling works start on the A394 Between Sithney Common Hill and Gipsy Lane today (11th) continuing until the 22nd January, delays likely.

At Gunwalloe, traffic control (stop/go boards) will be in use from the 12th January and the 15th January, the full length of road will be affected to resurface the carriagway.

In Mullion, there will be long delays and marshal control for resurfacing work from Nansmellyon Road to Mullion Cove. This continues until tomorrow (12th).

Near Breage, there is likely to be delays to provide a safe working area for engineers to access telegraph poles in order to provide fibre overhead cabling. This is at Bozley Main Road, Ashton. Traffic control will be in use for one day, tomorrow (12th). Delays likely.

A pole test could cause some delays between Porthleven Road and Penrose Hill, traffic control will be in use to provide a safe working area for the test. This will be for one day, (12th).

Installation of new foul sewer pumping main from junction at Methleigh Bottoms, Porthleven to existing inspection chamber in Mill Lane. This work is expected to be finished by the 18th January.
