The Royal Navy's First Sea Lord visited RNAS Culdrose this morning to congratulate sailors on completing the 2020 Row Britannia charity rowing challenge – which is the first naval establishment to finish the 2020 miles in aid of Sport Relief.

Admiral Tony Radakin met trainers at the gym and handed out prizes to the sailors who have racked up the most miles on the rowing machines (between this small group it was a staggering total of 685 miles), including: Lieutenant Commander Sebastian Nixon, Naval Airman Shane Reid, Lieutenant Commander Alex Stevenson, Leading Writer Leah Lockey and Chief Petty Officer Bruce Rowarth. Also pictured are Leading Physical Trainers Jordan Ayton and Joe McGarry.

Sailors at Culdrose have also donated more than £790 to the charity appeal which is still open to donations.
