RNAS Culdrose: Remembrance Sunday in pictures

By Joseph Macey

9th Nov 2020 | Local News

Members of the Royal Navy from RNAS Culdrose took time to remember the sacrifices of previous generations on Sunday.

Nearly all the parades were cancelled this year due to the lockdown, although a small, socially-distanced ceremony did go ahead Camborne.

In most cases, sailors from the Helston air station attended at memorials in their own time to avoid unnecessary contact, laying wreaths and pausing a moment to remember those who have died in conflict.

Wreaths were lain across West Cornwall including at Helston, Marazion, Coverack, St Keverne, Truro, Praze-an-Beeble and Camborne.
