Local taxi firm Dan Dan The Taximan, Helston, has announced a reopening date after being closed since January.

After covid related issues and a new addition to the family - the reopening date for Dan Dan The Taximan is Monday 5th April.

"It is the second time in the last year we have had to close due to this pandemic hopefully it's the last," owner Daniel Lomas told Nub News.

He continued:

"Most businesses have struggled during this year with the up and downs of it. We are still here by the skin of our teeth hanging on and hopefully will continue to do so with the help of the loyal customers in the community.

"We have been working behind the scenes to make sure we continue to bring the award-winning service our clients deserve."

They also celebrated a three-year anniversary in February, with the first day of the business on the 19th February 2018, Dan called it a "huge milestone" for the family and the company.

Dan added:

"We're so proud of the fact our hard work is paying off and if we continue to keep on moving, Dan Dan will be here for many more years to come.

"We would not be here if it wasn't for the customers, they make us stand out and help keep the standards high. Thanks to everyone and hope to see you all soon."
