A Porthleven charity shop has announced it will be reopening to the public from Monday 13th July.

The Cellar Charity Shop, situated on Fore Street, will be opening 11.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Due to new and enforced social distancing rules, the shop will not be accepting any donations at the premises.

Instead all donations should be dropped to the cellar under the church in Thomas Street on Mondays to Thursdays, 11.30am to 2.30pm.

The charity shop has asked that no donations be left outside as they will not be able to be used.

Face masks or coverings must be worn inside the shop and hands must be washed with hand sanitizer before entering.

"These measures are to keep us all safe as we possibly can," The Cellar Charity Shop wrote on social media.

During lockdown charity shop helped provide duvets, sheets and bedding to the Cornwall Scrubs project.

Cornwall Scrubs helped turn these items into scrubs, hats and washing bags to front line workers in surgeries, hospitals and care homes.
