An appeal has been launched to locate a missing Helston boy who was last seen yesterday.

Daniel Evans, 12, could be in a different town after leaving his house in Helston on Sunday (3rd April).

In a post on social media, family member Sal Evans said Daniel went out with a friend but did not return at the usual time of 8:30pm.

Daniel, who attends Mullion School, is said to be wearing black Adidas jogging bottoms, black and white Nike trainers, and a black hoodie.

Devon and Cornwall Police told Nub News they had a missing person report and the search is ongoing.

Sal added:

"If anyone heard or see anything please contact either myself or the police (log number 901-03-04-22)."
