Police have started enquiries following a reported assault in Helston on Sunday afternoon.

The incident occurred near the skate park on Coronation Road, Helston involving a teenager and two men.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said:

"Police are investigating a report of an assault on a teenager which occurred at around 2pm on Sunday (9th).

"A 14-year-old boy was allegedly assaulted following an altercation with two men. Enquiries are ongoing."
