Police appeal after serious collision in Helston

Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after a pedestrian sustained serious injuries in Helston.

Officers were called to the junction of Meneage Street and The Parade just before 6.45 pm on Sunday 19 February to reports of a collision involving a green Suzuki estate and a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, a male in his 80s from the local area, sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital.

The road was closed whilst officers from the Roads Policing Team investigated.
