Today signalled the finish for Helston schoolchildren taking on a virtual loop of Iceland for charity.

The year 4 class of Nansloe Academy took up the challenge after their classmate Olivia was diagnosed with leukaemia.

All money raised will be going towards the Little Princess Trust, the trust will be providing Olivia with her wig - which is very important for her.

The schoolchildren covered 600 miles over two challenges in 14 days, 183 to Bristol and 419 miles for the loop of Iceland - 602 miles.

The class also finished on Olivias birthday too! Big happy birthday to Olivia. Hope you have had a special day.

A post on the Olivias Icelandic Loop social media page read this evening:

"A massive well done to every single one of our superheroes. We're incredibly proud of you and all you have achieved.

"We want to say thank you for getting behind our children and supporting them."
