Opening of brand new Ann's Pasties bar in Lizard

Last week signaled the opening of the new Ann's Pasties bar in Lizard.

Plans came to light for the new bar back in March when a licensing application was submitted for the late-night refreshment and sale by retail of alcohol, moving to Steps Newsagent.

Work has finally been completed on the site and welcomed its first customers this week.

The new venture will be selling local spirits and beers from a range of Cornish suppliers. The bar will be open until 9pm seven days a week.

Enjoy a pasty and a pint in the sun, is there a better combination?

Announcing the news on social media, a spokesperson for Ann's Pasties added:

"We are a small bar so if you can't get a table straight away, please try again, we will be open and here all summer.

"This is new for us so please bear with us and be kind to our staff who will be trying their best. We can't wait to see you for a drink."
