One man injured after van collision near Helston

Update: A394 both ways re-opened, accident cleared and oil spillage cleared from B3304 (Porthleven) to Gipsy Lane (Helston).


Emergency services remain at the scene of a collision near Helston.

An update from the police revealed one man was injured in the crash between two vans on the A394 near Hill Top Garage, between Helston and Penzance.

The route remains closed as emergency services work on the scene. Expect delays if you are heading this way.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police told Nub News:

"Police were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving two vans on the A394, near Helston, at around 8:25am, today [17th November].

"One man was hurt but his injuries are not thought to be life threatening or life changing.

"The road remains closed at this time to allow emergency services to deal with the scene."
