O2 customers in Porthleven may see disruption to services.

Residents in Porthleven who are customers of O2 are set to experience connection problems until tomorrow evening.

Upgrade work means that there may be disruption with data and messages through until Thursday.

A spokesperson for O2 said:

"We're carrying out some upgrade work to help improve our network. While we do this, you might have some trouble with your calls, texts and data but we're working as fast as we can to get things sorted."

Everything is expected to be back to normal by 6pm Thursday 4th February.

The West Cornwall Post Office announced a temporary closure this afternoon saying:

"O2 appears to have disabled the network in the area due to maintenance work so, unfortunately, we have had to close this afternoon.

"The work is due to be completed tomorrow so we expect to be up and running again on Friday."
