A shop on Coinagehall Street Helston is set to be turned into a hybrid events space.

42 TheLivingRoom is moving into the building opposite Poundstretcher - opening for pop-up events during August.

Residents might have been wondering what the new business was going to be. Owner Rachel Seely addressed speculation on social media with a new website and Instagram page in progress.

42 TheLivingRoom will open for pop-up events in August before a launch party in late September.

The website reads: "Nestled in the centre of Helston, 42, TheLivingRoom is a hybrid event space for one and all offering a cornucopia of entertainment centred around community.

"Through a variety of events, from supper clubs to story nights, from food to music, our mission is to create a place where people can enjoy intimate and fun occasions.

"The space will be a labyrinth of different rooms both in the house and garden creating a vibe to hang out and meet friends old and new."

Rachel said on social media it had all been a journey and they're "still very much on the road".
