Developed by volunteer group Helston CIC and funded by the Town Council, 'Discover Helston' is designed to showcase the very best of the town, providing locals and visitors with a place to find out about what's going on in our town.

Written by mightierwords and designed by Helston based 3Deep Media, the site includes sections listing links to community groups and services as well as events and places to visit and discover in Helston.

An interactive aerial map will be added to the site during 2020 and there are also associated Facebook and Instagram accounts. The website complements the annual Discover Helston magazine that is distributed across the region.

Helston Mayor, John Martin said:

"The idea is to provide a virtual tourism office for Helston – telling people near and far the many, many fantastic reasons there are to visit our town.

"There is so much going on in Helston and as a council, we wanted to create a way to share this in a more accessible and cohesive way – a one-stop-shop for both the local community and visitors.

"Congratulations to the Helston CIC and the Town Council. They have created a colourful and positive website which is an excellent platform promoting our town and its wonderful community and heritage."
