Mullion Fish & Chip Shop The Galleon, Churchtown, has announced a closure with immediate effect following a positive covid test.

The business is having to close its doors again, having been struck down a number of times in recent months by positive covid tests.

Announced yesterday afternoon (25th), the business said a staff member had reported a positive lateral flow test and is waiting on the results of the PCR tests.

A Galleon spokesperson added:

"We may well be closed for a while. We are very sorry for the inconvenience this is going to cause but there is nothing else we can do."
