Mullion coastguard call out after concerns for welfare of individual

In wet and windy conditions this afternoon Mullion Coastguard Rescue Team were tasked to assist after concerns for an individual.

The team was paged at around quarter past 12 after concerns for the welfare of a male near Mullion Cove Hotel.

A spokesperson for Mullion Coastguard Rescue Team added:

"We provided back up to Devon and Cornwall Police on scene, however, our services were not required."

Devon and Cornwall Police have been contacted for further details.
