Shaunette Kerley has been running Mrs K's Fruit & Veg for 5 years in Helston, just before lockdown, she opened a grocery shop out the back of the store and then last year added a toy shop filled with low priced goodies for children to spend their pocket money on.

This Christmas Shaunette is getting into the festive spirit by offering a discount to shoppers, they shared this message on social media: "Mrs K's toy shop in Helston has a selection of toys, games, fidgets, jokes, and stocking fillers. As a special thank you to everyone who supports Mrs K'S fruit and veg shop.

"Situated downstairs all customers old and new will receive a voucher for the toy shop which will get you 10% off any purchase made in the toy shop when you spend £10 or over in Mrs K's fruit and veg. This offer will run until Christmas eve when we close at 12 pm."

After the first Helston Late Night Christmas Shopping I spoke to Shanuette about how it's been for the shop, and she said: "The first night was quiet but I am optimistic that things will change, Meneage Street needs a boost as there are some lovely shops. I run the shops myself most of the week which is hard work but very rewarding as I have lovely customers."

Shaunette then went on to explain a bit more about the special offers this Christmas, She said: "We are giving people a raffle ticket from tomorrow there are two chances to win one of two pre-loved giant Teddy bears. If they spend £10 in our fruit and veg shop they will get 10% off any product from our toy shop "

You can find Mrs K's Fruit & Veg and Toy Shop at 54 Meneage St but you can also find videos of all Christmas goodies on offer at the shop on their Facebook page here: Mrs K's Fruit & Veg.
