More roadworks this week as route between Helston and Lizard closes

There will be more roads closed in Helston this week, as resurfacing work is carried out on the A3083.

The closure will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0700 on a daily basis, weekdays only.

The route that the work will be carried out on includes Trevelyan Holiday Homes and Little Trethvas Ruan Minor and the junction of Ebenezer Road, A3083 between Friars Lane and Trevelyan Holiday Homes Ruan Minor, A3083 between Higher Bochym and Friars Lane, Bochym Hill.

A Cornwall Council notice reads:

"The Order will come into operation on 10th February 2020 and the works are expected to be completed by the 14th February 2020.

"Nothing in this order will apply to emergency services, school buses, traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything is done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer.

"Pedestrian access to residents and businesses will be maintained."
