Mental health charity to hold its last support group of the year tonight

Your Voice, a charity which aims to support individuals with mental health issues as well as other mental health charities, is holding its last women support group of the year this evening (16th December 2019).

The support group will be hosted at The Coffee Hut in Helston, and everyone is welcome to attend.

The meetings are completely confidential and very relaxed in atmosphere. The aim is to allow women who attend to be in a non-judgemental space to talk, listen and share their feelings.

Helston Nub News spoke to the founder of Your Voice, Natasha Anne, she said:

"The response has been great. The Helston group has anywhere between 5-8 people & usually has a new face each week. With lots more women messaging saying they're working on feeling strong/comfortable enough to attend.

"I even had the ladies ask if there was any way we could do weekly; it's been that successful.

"And I have so many women waiting for us to get a group established near them.

"We have a few more locations we are waiting to get locked in & these will be up and running by the end of January, including Falmouth, Truro, Bodmin & Hayle.

"We're still waiting to find a property suitable for our first shop, and this is a huge priority as we need a constant income to fund the support groups."
