Man suffers serious injuries following collision near Helston

At approximately 0705 on Thursday 6th February 2020, Police were notified to a road traffic collision on the B3302 between Hayle and Helston.

The collision involved a blue Peugeot and a silver Volkswagon transporter.

The Peugeot was travelling toward Hayle and the Volkswagon towards Helston when the collision occurred.

The driver of the Peugeot, a 23-year-old local male, sustained life-threatening injuries and was initially taken to RCH Truro but then transferred to Derriford

Officers from the Alliance's Roads Policing Team and local officers attended the scene and commenced an investigation

The police are appealing for any witnesses who were in the area at the time of the collision.
