Look inside the modern new improvements to Museum of Cornish Life
The Museum of Cornish Life, in Helston, recently unveiled its new shop following its reopening in May.
Tiffany Truscott from BBC Radio Cornwall opened the new shop on the 17th May, revealing a brand new modern, light design with space for new stock.
Museum Director Annette Mactavish told Nub News:
"There was lots of work done in the 80s and 90s on the museum so all that eternal area was getting a bit tired, so we took all that eternal building out and opened it up so you can see all the original parts of the building.
"There is so much more room for people coming in, got a new floor laid down and now we have a lovely new shop."
The museum shop has a brand new range of stock, a whole range around Cornish life, some new cards and some old favourites, keeping minerals, toys, and books for people to buy.
Annette added:
"It is really nice to reopen, we did the building work between November and February, originally we were going to open in February half term but we couldn't, so we have been sitting and waiting to show off the work to everybody."
