The St. Keverne Community Fire Station were welcomed with a surprise on return from a shift last week.
The team from Mrs B's Tearoom, in St. Keverne, gifted the team cakes and cookies after attending numerous gorse fires in the past weeks.
One was a fire in the open between Landkidden Cove and Kennack on the cliff path, a gorse fire at Zoar Garage and a similar incident on the nearby cliffs.
Crews from Mullion, Helston and St Keverne attended several incidents throughout the week - a nice gesture following their hard work.
A message on the treats read:
"We know it has been a busy few weeks for you with all these gorse fires, so we thought you might enjoy these goodies with a cuppa."
Responding to the gifts the team added:
"Thank you to Jo and Sophie at Mrs B's Tearoom for the lovely cake and cookies they gave us. They have gone down a treat with the team - from all the crew a massive thanks to you."
