Lengthy closure coming up around Ruan Minor this month - diversion of over 20 minutes

8th Jul 2021 | Local News

There will be a road closure next week around Ruan Minor, with a diversion for local residents of over 20 minutes.

Cornwall Council will be introducing the restrictions on Ebenezer Road to create a new sewage link (foul water run), from 20th July to the 3rd August.

The closure will be on a route between Predannack Anti Aircraft Battery and Museum and Treleague Dairy.

The diversion will take motorists through Goonhilly Downs, Garras, Cross Lanes, and Penhale - expected to be around 22 minutes.

This will be in force between the hours of 10pm and 6:30am on a daily basis, weekdays only.

A spokesperson for Cornwall Council said:

"The council is satisfied that the order is needed because works are being executed on or near the road to carry out foul water runway."
