Kay Harvey's Tunes of the Week
Hey everyone so here we are in December, scary, after such a tough year with one thing and another.
First up, Alanis Morissette with the John Lennon cover of 'Happy Christmas, War Is Over'. Alanis has one of the most unique voices and this is an excellent cover of a beautiful song. Welcome back Alanis.
Britains got talent judge Amanda Holden has released a Christmas single a very sugary cover of a song by Maria Mena "Home for Christmas" I will be honest and say I am no fan of Amanda but beautiful lyrics in the song.
Liam Gallagher is back and sounding at his best with "All Your Dreaming Of" sounding even more like the Beatles with superb vocals, he's at his best.
One of Cornwall's most energetic bands with a punk vibe The Rezner has a new single out called "What You're Looking For" if you are a fan of the Libertines you will love this band. Lead singer Sam Stone has so much energy and with a thrilling combination of drums and guitar and an electric punk riff, this track deserves to be a massive hit. Love it.
Last but by no means least the hugely talented Tom Grennan and his new single. 'Something Better' each time Tom releases something new he reinvents himself.
This single has an incredible feel good and high energy, it makes you want to dance and will certainly put a big smile on your face. Another winning track for me.
Have a great week everyone, take care keep safe.
