Hey Everyone, hope you are all bearing up with this horrendous lockdown number 2.

As I am a bit disappointed with this week's new releases I thought I would review this year's Christmas releases. In the charts already are some classics, Mariah Carey 'All I Want For Christmas', also Wham 'Last Christmas' and everyone's favourite The Pogues and Kirsty MacColl 'Fairytale of New York.'

The first release is Kelly Clarkson and Country music star Brett Eldredge Under the Mistletoe.

This is an original composition from the American Idol that packs enough pep to take you all the way through to the 12th day of Christmas.

Next up the Queen of Soul, Beverley Knight 'A Christmas Wish' a brand new Christmas song for the upcoming film 'The Loss Adjuster' and its a banger. Beverley says she has never written or recorded a Christmas song as part of her solo career, but she quite simply felt this was a banger, and you don't turn down bangers.

Next up is Dolly Parton and Miley Cyrus 'Christmas Is' Dolly's third album with some very timely collaborations including goddaughter Miley.

It's a far cry from Mileys latest top 5 hit Midnight Sky! To be honest, despite the meaningful lyrics it does nothing for me.

One Direction fans will probably enjoy Liam Paynes Christmas single featuring Tik Tok star Dixie D'Amello 'Naughty List', Liam's single is inspired by the Trop Pop styling of his earlier hit 'Strip That Down'. A definite party hit.

My favourite of the new Christmas releases is Megan Trainer 'I believe in Santa,' Megan kicks off Christmas early this year with a release of her fourth album A Very Trainer Christmas, her first Christmas album. The Voice coach even wrote some of the original songs for the album alongside members of her own family.

I absolutely love this track and anticipate it to be a huge hit and definitely played loads at Christmas parties if we are allowed to hold them. Have a good week everyone. Take care stay safe and see you next week.
