IN PICTURES: RNAS Culdrose mark Armistice Day

Royal Navy sailors and civilians at RNAS Culdrose paused at 11am today to remember the fallen.

Led by commanding officer Captain Stuart Finn, a small number of the air station's personnel gathered in a socially distant manner to pay their respects before the naval flag, the white ensign.

Wreaths were lain and, at the same time, across RNAS Culdrose sailors personnel stopped work to observe the two-minutes' silence.

With so many of the traditional parades cancelled due to the lockdown, this year's remembrance was very much a personal moment, which each individual marking the occasion in their own way.
