As you probably already know by now, the Platinum Jubilee weekend is now only two weeks away.

The special four-day Bank Holiday weekend will be held to commemorate the Queen's 70-year reign.

Thursday and Friday will both be Bank Holidays, giving a four-day weekend from 2nd - 5th June.

Helston will be celebrating with a "Right Royal Knees Up".

Sunday 5th June from 12pm in Coronation Park and the Boating Lake will be the Jubilee big lunch.

A spokesperson for Helston Town Council told Nub News:

"People are encouraged to bring their own lunch (or buy if they prefer) and join together as a community in celebration. Helston Town Band will be providing entertainment."
