Mainly dry but rain at times in southern coastal counties.

Today

Any showery rain near the south coast, clearing away by lunchtime. Otherwise, mist and low cloud lifting, then sunny spells for most. An isolated afternoon shower. Feeling cooler than recently Maximum temperature 15 °C.

A fine end to the day for most of the region with clear spells continuing into this evening. Skies clouding over later in the night. Turning chilly in places. Minimum temperature 4 °C.

Wednesday

Rather cloudy during the morning with bright spells and a few heavy showers by lunchtime. Thicker cloud for the afternoon with showery rain edging southwards. Feeling somewhat cooler for most. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Thursday and Saturday

Much colder to end the week with sunshine and showers, these locally wintry at first, especially over hills with overnight frosts. Turning somewhat milder into the weekend. Windy at times.
