There have been reports of an accident on the A394 this afternoon causing slow traffic.

Local residents have reported seeing police on the scene following an incident just past Hilltop Garage (9th).

A traffic update from Devon and Cornwall Police just after 12pm read, "reports of slow traffic due to accident on A394 near the car dealers."

One eyewitness said: "Big accident just past Hilltop Garage. Passable but lots of cars and police. Steer clear."
