Preparation is well underway for The Wedding Singer - a Helston Theatre Company spring musical which they will present at The Epworth Hall from 5th to 9th April.

This year the company is going back to the eighties in this fantastic comedy musical based on the hit film starring Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore; the 2020 stage production in London had Strictly Come Dancing performer Kevin Clifton playing the lead role.

Heading the Helston cast is Harry Charleston who plays Robbie Hart, the wedding singer of the title, whose life is going great until his fiancée dumps him at the altar. With the help of his bandmates, Sammy and George; a waitress named Julia, and her best friend Holly, Robbie learns how to get his life back together.

The show features a great, eighties-inspired score by the writer of Elf, the Musical, and the Prom and will have you dancing in the aisles by the end.

Tickets are available via this link or by calling 01726 63513.
