A Helston shop which announced it would be closing at the end of last month has given its official closing date.

Shop Locally, situated on Meneage Street, will be closing for good on 30th August.

Ben Faulkner, manager of Shop Locally, told Nub News that he doesn't want a 'big fuss' for the closure as he hates goodbyes.

Last month we spoke to Ben about what he would be doing next.

Ben said:

"I'd love to stay in Helston but the shops I've been looking at are ridiculously priced.

"I couldn't afford to move into any other store around here."

The shop will today be running 40% off everything in store.
