Helston runner Melissa Nicholas is gearing up for another huge task as she aims to complete the virtual London Marathon.
Having already completed a marathon around Helston Upper School field in April, she most recently took on the Goggins challenge in July, running 4 miles every 4 hours for 48 hours.
Setting off on the Sunday morning of October 4th, Melissa will again be raising money for Sense, a charity she says is close to her heart.
Sense is a national charity that supports people who are deafblind and those with complex disabilities.
Melissa Nicholas told Nub News:
"A little bit different than we all expected, never the less I am running my virtual marathon this year in preparation for my next challenge.
"I ran for this charity last year and so pleased to be able to support a great cause once again!
"I know in these times everyone is struggling in some way but please if you can please donate.
"I will be starting my virtual in the early hours on Sunday morning with the testing rocky Cornish coast and finishing in Hayle to support fellow runners."
Melissa has raised £175.00 so far, make your donation here.
