Helston Nub News yesterday asked residents if they had anything they wanted to say to their postal workers.

We wanted to compile a few of our responses in an article, to show support and celebration to the people that work tirelessly to keep our country connected.

Simon in Mullion, you're a superstar xx

A million thanks for keeping working.

Many thanks to you all for such a fantastic service with the posties.

Haven't seen my lovely Postie for a while (daily routine gone out the window, very late to bed and late to rise!), but even before all this he was a total âï¸ so a big continued thank you to Paul the Postie (who lives in Helston I think)

Thank you soo much.

Thank you . I hope you are being looked after and treated with respect by all.

Sorry for always being in my PJ's.

Our postman is one in a million

Mark who is our postie in Helston is amazing. He is fantastic. He always has been and always will be the best postie ever (imho). Thank you Mark

Huge thanks and stay safe.

Our postman, dpd Greg and my Hermes guy are all great in Helston! Thank you.

Ours is fantastic on Water Ma Trout, despite my dog trying to get through my window at him. He's a docile dog, but for some reason always goes mad when postie or anyone tries to deliver something.

The postie at Osborne Parc Helston always smiling does a great job. Well done.

On Wednesday (28th) the country celebrated National Postal Workers Day, giving thanks to the postal workers who have been working tirelessly through these difficult times.

The day was created by the Communication Workers Union, a trade union with almost 200,000 members.

Do you have anything to say to your local postal worker? Let us know over email at [email protected], call 07380803652 or use our Nub It button.
